Geared up for the belly dance!
The art of wearing a sari: wrapping 9 meters long clothe round your body. Talent transmitted from a lady to another, tremendously feminine, skillfully tucking and pleating into places, without buttons or pins.
The ceremony includes tightening the thingy enough (i.e practically no breathing) so that you don’t stand naked if you trip over the dress! For “us” (Atlantic sea bikini lovers) it wouldn’t look too exposed since the choli and petticoats are put underneath, but for Indians this is publicly disgraceful!
Big Money Player!!! (Gloves)
To celebrate the New Year Indians offer each other new bank notes. The Bishop came with loads of cash for the residents, the Sisters, and the petite volunteer. Thank you! Whoop whoop 10 rupees Mahatma Gandhi banknote from the Bishop: the start of prosperity!!
How far can you go with Rs. 10 in India? Mmmmh... You can get two chai teas!! One for you and one for the little vagabond sitting by the tea stall!

Rumba n nalla nalla Christmas!!
Best wishes from India!! Enjoy your holidays, play in the snow, and sing a lot! Have a cracking time with your families!! Think about those who live alone and will spend the evening with no-one else, the prisoners, the sick in hospital…
Appreciation to those who’ll be revising for exams!!!!!!!! Good luck!!!
Can’t wait to tell you if the Sisters have fun with crackers, drink a cheeky champagne, chant around the eucalyptus tree…or spend a crazy night in the chapel, surprise surprise!!
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Santa Claus is coming tonight!!!
Xmas Tata was very tall last year apparently… he’s reduced in size after that!
HO HO HO, me along with Rudolph the Red Nosed Camel
So hot in here!!!!!! Norwegian snowfall costume not exactly suited to Indian afternoon conditions. Supersize me, it’s much easier to do the boogie boogie with a fat belly and an enormous derriere!!
Gloria in elxcesis deo!!!
The residents performed the Holy Night play. Sooo sweet! Homemade angels, Wise Kings, shepherds… and a tiny little lamb! Awwwwww. It was brought in the morning and spent its time running up and down the convent like a mad chicken calling its mummy. Drove the sisters crazy! Mother superior offered to turn it into a mutton biriany oh noooooo!!!
