So yeah! Spending some time helping the Sisters! They look after me so well - and feed me a lot!!! Chaappattis, idlis, dosse, sambar, ... ouf!!
It’s quite good fun living with them. And under the authority of Mother Superior lol!
They are all Indian, and (thank God) speak English! It took me some time to remember the 11 names: Sister Lucy, Sister Brigitte, Sister Selvie etc etc.
Yesterday one of the Sisters secretly came to give me a present: a packet of banana chewing gums!! She asked whether I ever had one before, and kept repeating that I shouldn’t swallow them! Hahaha
By the way, most of the sign posts are not in our alphabet. And Tamil, one of the many Indian languages, uses 247 letters!!! How am I meant to find my way without looking like a tourist till the end?!
