The elderly look so out of form, plain and naive. Sometimes sad; if they are at the Little Sisters of the Poor, means they have no one to look after them, and most have had harsh lives. Yet they have beautiful smiles, fiercely defend the convent from the angry monkey’s attacks, make lovely handicrafts and toys for the children, push forward each other’s wheelchairs, and make the Sisters’ hearts and mine melt!!!
